With the conclusion of the Romulan War, the Federation has reignited its commitment to exploration. Starbase 516, a state-of-the-art Probert Class Spacedock, now stands as a beacon in Sector Grid 2B-BL of the Beta Quadrant. As the premier outpost beyond Federation borders, it serves as the launchpad for deep-space missions into the uncharted realms of the Beta Quadrant.
On Stardate 240310.25, an extremely powerful, non-natural ion storm crippled Starbase 516 and the vessels docked. Admiral Austin Kinsley, Commodore Mark Crichton, and Captain Sydney Crichton all disappeared from the station. Docked deep towards the center of SB516 was the USS Glenn, an experimental vessel unaffected by the storm. Escaping the starbase, the Glenn would be pulled into the storm, and into the mirror universe.
Admiral Kinsley, along with Commodore and Captain Crichton, would wake up in the brig of the ISS Calibourn. The flagship of the Terran Empire, under the ruling hand of Emperor Mark Crichton. After escaping from the brig, Emperor Crichton would attempt to kill Sydney Crichton.... he was then shot 17 times by Commodore Crichton. Sydney was transported to sickbay into a stasis pod, where she would immediately be taken into care by The Eclipsed Ones.
After the newly anointed Empress Yuki Nagisawa arrived to the scene, Admiral Kinsley and Commodore Crichton would be pulled onto the bridge of the Glenn. The Calibourn would then make a dash for Outpost 516, this universes equivalency to Starbase 516. The Glenn would follow.
After the Glenn arrived to Outpost 516, Empress Nagisawa would invite several members of the crew onboard for negotiations of Sydney Crichton's return. These 'negotiations' would end as soon as they began, as the grieving Commodore Crichton would initiate a plan he had set in motion. Commander S'Atar gave a codeword that would transport them back to the USS Glenn.
A small vial of dark matter was transported from Shuttlecraft Tiberius, directly into the primary fusion core powering the station. Moments later, a micro-singularity formed within the core, causing the station, and all 50,000 inhabitants, to succumb to the relentless gravitational pull of the singularity. Seconds later, nothing would remain.
The Eclipsed Ones, previously freed by the USS Bedivere during The Entity mission, would appear, returning Sydney's body to the Glenn. Admiral Kinsley then offered himself to the Eclipsed Ones in exchange for Sydney. In a complex, first-time process, Sydney would be resurrected while Kinsley would pass beyond the veil. Sydney, now imbued with Kinsley's past, would call herself by a new name, Marsali.
The fate of Austin Kinsley is currently unknown, the Eclipsed Ones state he is now beyond the veil, neither living nor dead.
After detecting the familiar ion storm that brought the Glenn to this universe, they would set course to intercept, where, at the storm, they would find the Bailey's Pride. A specced up Defiant Class vessel equipped with a stolen Excalibur, a point-singularity projector previously installed on the Bedivere. Under the command of now Emperor Alex Torrent, "The Engineer", as well as an army of sentient warrior chickens. The Bailey's Pride used the Excalibur to close the storm, forcing a standoff with the Glenn.
Entering into a battle with the Bailey's Pride, the Glenn found themselves on the receiving end of the Excalibur. Before the Glenn was turned into ramen, The Eclipsed Ones intervened, transforming the incoming singularity into a stable wormhole back to our universe. The Eclipsed Ones at the same time disabled the Bailey’s Pride, crippling them where they stood. The crew of chickens abandoned ship in escape pods, which would be transported aboard the Glenn before the Glenn would traverse the now unstable and closing wormhole.
Safe and sound back in their own universe, the USS Glenn would report in and return to Starbase 516.
