Personal History

Sydney Crichton was born May 6th, 2378 on the USS Galactica. At the young age of 17, Sydney enlisted in Starfleet Academy in an accelerated program, and was quickly promoted to Ensign in 2398 after graduation. Her first operational posting was aboard the USS Voyager-B, a Pathfinder Class Starship. She would have a meteroric rise through the ranks and reach the rank of Lieutenant Commander by 2401. Under the recommendation of her commanding officer, Sydney was placed in the Accelerated Command Training Program and assigned First Officer of the USS Columbia under the command of Admiral Kinsley. In mid-2402, Sydney was given a field promotion to Commander during a high-stakes mission and given command of the USS Bedivere, a Duderstadt Class Starship. Many months later, after returning home from a mission in the Gamma Quadrant that saw Sydney severely injured, she was given a full promotion to Captain.

Sydney Crichton died on Stardate 240312.22 in the mirror universe aboard the ISS Calibourn. Emperor Mark Crichton of the Confederation of Earth would strike her down in front of Admiral Austin Kinsley and Commodore Mark Crichton.

On Stardate 240401.31, Admiral Austin Kinsley offered himself to The Eclipsed Ones to save Sydney Crichton. She was revived, going by a new name, Marsali. She is currently on leave away from Starfleet following her death-experience, reflecting on the past and future.
